It’s such a thrill to be part of the Blaze series. The heat level of Blaze books suits my idea of a rocking good read every time.
Ideas for stories sometimes come to me in flashes. For Possessing Morgan, I had a visual of an exotic car dangling off the back of a rattletrap old tow truck. The truck and car bounced and groaned down a manicured driveway toward distant gates. That vision stayed with me for a couple of years. Whenever I saw that car and truck, I’d add pieces of the story.
Then, I had an idea for a secondary character who’d once been a car thief. Voilà! I had the tow truck operator…except she’s a red-haired spitfire in Daisy Duke shorts. After that, the story flew onto the keyboard and I had the essence of Possessing Morgan.
To be on the shelves with a Harlequin Blaze with my little quirky vision come to life is one of the biggest thrills of my career.
